Blakey loves the French Riviera - what's not to like other than the cost.
So, it's May 2016 and off we went to Antibes, France.

The Town

Antibes is pretty well preserved Medieval city.
It is now a sailing destination as you will soon see.

It has a lovely beach and coastline.

Of course the main attraction is the harbour.
And as it turned out, the week we there was Classic Boat week.

There were probably 50 or so classic sailboats in port.
They were classic due to their age -
some boats were built in the 19th century.

The newest boats would have been built in the 1930's.

The gathering was not just an exhibit, but in fact a race over multiple days.

And, so off we went to the page.
