January 2011 - Five of us toddled off to Val Thorens, France...in the Alps.
Val Thorens is one ski area of a many that make up "Three Valleys".
Look up Three Valleys....claims to be the largest ski area in the WORLD...
Having gone there....I am a believer.
Here is the village of Val Thorens.....purpose built for skiing.
Val Thorens village sits at an elevation of 2,300 meters, or 7,500 feet above sea level.
Obviously, we went up from there....to go skiing.
We've gone up a little bit....
...and now we've gone up a bit more.
