Now, we'd never been to an opera before, but this setting was just
fantastic.....
The opera was Carmen... a true
classic.
Some 300 people, a half dozen horses and a few goats are involved in
the production.
It basically is a story about a local "good time girl", that being
Carmen herself,
and how she falls in love with two men, or rather they fall in love
with her.
And, you guessed it, Carmen abuses both the lads, and in the end nobody
is happy.
....some things never change....
